Hi! I’m Jen.

After over a decade of working in marketing, I decided to follow my passion and qualify as a Level 3 Personal Trainer.

Growing up, I wasn’t ‘sporty’ and always associated exercise with trying to be thinner. After the births of my two daughters, I decided to change my mindset and focus on being strong, fit and healthy - future-proofing my body rather than punishing it.

I want to help others to discover the same love for strength training, offering a welcoming and non-judgemental space for women to feel confident and comfortable, focusing on progress, not perfection, and learning to appreciate our bodies for what they can do, not just how they look.

My qualifications.

Level 2 Gym Instructor
Level 3 Personal Trainer
T3 Coach
Circuit Instructor
Group Indoor Cycling Instructor
Outdoor Fitness
Sports Conditioning
Exercise Referral

Why strength training?

As women, our bodies go through so many changes throughout our lives, yet we’ve grown up in a society that focuses so intently on how we look. I want to break down those preconceptions and help women to fall in love with exercise for the right reasons: improving your physical and mental health and increasing your quality of life.

One of the most important things that women can incorporate in their lives is strength training. As we age, our bone density and muscle mass decreases and as women, menopause significantly speeds bone loss, with research indicating that up to 20% of bone loss can happen during this stage of life and approximately 1 in 10 women over the age of 60 are affected by osteoporosis worldwide.

Lifting weights is so beneficial.

Future proof your body

By challenging your muscles, you'll increase your bone density, reduce the risk of osteoporosis and fractures and improve overall physical durability.

Expand your potential

Carrying groceries, playing with your kids, or simply staying independent as you age all become easier with increased muscle strength. Strength training makes daily life more manageable and enjoyable.

Build your confidence

Physical strength leads to mental strength. Strength training releases endorphins, reducing stress, anxiety and depression. It's a natural mood enhancer and stress reliever.

What my clients are saying.

  • Susannah H.

“I’ve been training with Jen for a few months now. With her help, I am fitter, stronger and healthier. She is kind, supportive and makes our sessions fun, but I leave feeling challenged and like I’ve achieved more than I thought I could. I’m recovering from a serious health issue and she has given me confidence to exercise on my own and has allowed me to believe I could regain my level of fitness pre-baby and pre-health issues. It’s been transformative for me and I am so grateful for that.”

  • Rebecca E.

“As someone who's not confident about going to a gym, PT was the way forward for me. Jen is great! She took the time to listen to my requirements and built a programme for me that is focused on my needs - she's encouraging, knowledgable and makes the session fun. Who knew I could FINALLY enjoy exercise!”

  • Tamsyn B-K.

“I have done a few PT sessions with Jen and have loved them! I cannot recommend her enough. She carefully tailors workouts with my capabilities, strength level, needs and progress in mind. I feel like I am in excellent hands! Thanks Jen.”

  • Saskia S.

“Jen’s PT sessions are great! She’s super knowledgeable, passionate and makes it fun! She has created a detailed plan in order to reach my goals and I already see the results. I highly recommend her!”

  • Arabella S.

Jen is incredible. When I started working with her in our PT sessions, I wasn’t feeling confident in my abilities and fitness, but through her knowledge and understanding we talked through my goals, she worked out a plan and has got me back in to enjoy it again. Her outdoor classes are tough but great, Jen tailors the exercises to suit your ability but also builds your strength too.”

There are not many gym classes I would get out of bed at 6am for - but I genuinely love Jen's morning strength and conditioning sessions. Having tried a number of different exercises classes over the years, I can safely say that Jen's have been the best find; not only are you guaranteed a great work out, which you can usually feel for a day or 2 after (!), Jen's personal and approachable way somehow makes an hour of sweating extremely enjoyable!
